Stain removal · Singapore
The stain that beat everyone else
Wine, oil, ink, mould, mystery marks that survived three other cleaners — this is the work our name was built on, one difficult piece at a time.
What we take on
Set-in stains on silk, structured tailoring, beaded evening wear, leather, and everyday garments alike. Each piece is examined first: the fibre, the finish, the age of the stain, and what previous attempts may have already done to it. Only then do we choose a treatment — because the wrong chemistry applied confidently is how garments get ruined.
Timing is the biggest factor customers control. A fresh stain is a far easier opponent than one that has had months to bond with the fibre. If something matters to you, bring it in early.
Mould and mildew are a category of their own here. Singapore's humidity means a piece left in a sealed wardrobe or a damp room can bloom with musty spotting in a matter of weeks — silk, linen, cotton, and structured tailoring alike. We treat mould as a restoration job: lifting the growth and its staining, neutralising the smell, and finishing the piece, rather than simply laundering over it. Deep-set mould that has stained the fibre may leave faint shadowing, and we'll tell you what's realistic before we begin.
Straight answers before we start
Many stains respond well; none are predictable. Fibre, dye, construction, and what the stain has already done to the fabric all decide what's possible — and treatment itself carries risk beyond the stain simply staying: colour or texture change, and occasionally fabric that a stain has quietly weakened giving way under cleaning, despite looking sound beforehand. You'll hear our honest read on the likely outcome and the risks before any work begins, and the decision to proceed stays yours. Good results are common here; they are never promised.

Common questions
Frequently asked
Can you remove old or set-in stains?
Sometimes — age works against removal, and outcomes depend on fibre, dye, and what the stain has already done to the fabric. We assess first and give an honest read; past results are never a guarantee for yours.
Can you remove mould and mildew from clothes?
Often, yes — it's one of the most common problems we see, given Singapore's humidity. We lift the mould and its staining, treat the musty smell, and finish the piece. Deep-set mould that has stained the fibre may leave faint shadowing; we assess first and tell you what's realistic for yours.
Will stain treatment damage my garment?
Every cleaning carries some risk — a stain can weaken fabric invisibly, so material that looks sound can fail under agitation. We explain the specific risks for your piece first; the decision is yours.
How much does stain removal cost?
Standard treatment is included in normal cleaning for most items; heavy or specialist work is quoted after assessment and confirmed before we begin.
Do I need an appointment for an assessment?
No — walk in at Orchard or Queenstown, or arrange a pickup and we'll assess at our facility and contact you.
